Finance Executive

What are we looking for?

A Finance Executive who is passionate in managing HR, Accounting and Finance operations. The Executive will be managing the full spectrum of Economics Design’s and Econteric’s Finances and HR matters. She or he will also be given an opportunity to work on various projects, which include system implementation and process improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the invoices posting and updating the ledger
  • Ensure that all invoices received have proper contracts in place
  • Review the trade invoices and make sure all supporting documents are fully attached
  • Prepare monthly payments and payroll
  • Prepare bank reconciliations
  • In-charge of the intercompany transactions and billing
  • Prepare and maintenance of the relevant schedules and AP and AR ageing
  • Liaise with external auditors and support audit activities
  • Provide COO the support on all HR matters
  • Support the COO on grant programs and any other adhoc projects

Qualifications

Skills

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / Finance
  • 2 Years of experience managing Accounting and HR in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working in a start-up, retail and/or eCommerce environment is highly advantageous
  • Highly organized and motivated, a team player and fast learner
  • Meticulous and attention to detail
  • Experience working with major accounting systems such as QuickBooks and Xero is highly advantageous
  • Strong experience and knowledge in Microsoft Excel
  • Familiar with CPF contributions and Singapore taxation
  • Tech savvy
